The Freeride 6.0 sail offers a good planning start and an excellent control/speed ratio. The Freeride 6.0 is stable and performs well and is light on manoeuvres.
MONOFILM SAIL BY FRENCH DESIGNER TEIVA SAILS
The Nautix Freeride 6.0 rig is delivered with a sail specially designed by Nautix:
- X-Ply 100 micron wefted monofilm sail in 6 battens with specific leech reinforcements, X-Ply 150 micron border and PVC window
- Colour: blue
The X-Ply monofilm fabric saves weight and guarantees a longer life.
Our sails are designed in France by the windsurf design specialist TEIVA SAILS. A close collaboration between Teiva and the Nautix R&D team allows a modern design while preserving the Nautix commitment to quality.
SPECIFIC REINFORCEMENTS TO GUARANTEE THE DURABILITY OF YOUR SAIL
The Freeride 6.0 has 6 fibre battens with batten caps to protect them from chafing. The battens are adjusted with screws and the Freeride 6.0 has two sheeting adjustments. The head of the sail is adjustable. The bottom of the sail has an integrated protection. The boom can be easily adjusted by means of a marker.
RECOMMANDATION FREERIDE 6.0
Easy to rig, the Nautix Freeride 6.0 rig is designed for all-round use. It is recommended for medium wind and slalom/freeride use. The Nautix Freeride 6.0 rig gives you a wide range of use.
TWO RANGES OF GREEMENTS AVAILABLE: FREERIDE OR FREERIDE PRO
The Freeride Pro range equips your rig with premium material. The mast and boom differ for a higher range: C60 carbon mast and Nx Slalom monobloc aluminium boom.
MONOBLOC ALUMINIUM BOOM MADE IN EUROPE
The Freeride 6.0 rig comes with a Nautix Nx Original 165-215cm Ø30mm aluminium boom or the Freeride Pro 6.0 version with a monobloc Nx Slalom 160-210cm Ø28mm aluminium boom.
Lightweight and easy to handle, our Nautix boom is made of anodised and corrosion resistant aluminium, covered with a comfortable and resistant Fungrip sheath. Nautix manufactures all its aluminium booms in France.
CARBON MAST
The rig includes a 4.30m 2-piece SDM C30 carbon mast or a 4.30m 2-piece SDM C60 carbon mast for the Freeride Pro version.
The Nautix carbon masts are made with Pre-pre technology, they offer good responsiveness and performance.
CARE AND ADVICE
We deliver the Freeride 6.0 rig in a sail cover.
To keep your Freeride 6.0 rig for as long as possible, Nautix recommends rinsing it with fresh water after each windsurfing session.
To store it, find a place where it won’t get banged around or exposed to unnecessary sunlight.
