REMOVABLE CARDAN MAST BASE
The removable cardan mast base with stainless steel sprue insert and universal axle system from Nautix can be attached to a standard board rail to connect it to the mast.
The removable cardan mast base is recommended for sailing clubs because it bends 90° without any constraint, which makes it easy to adjust the board.
MAINTENANCE
We recommend that you write the date of first use on the board in marker. For regular use, change it every year. For more occasional use, change it every 2 years.
A REMOVABLE SYSTEM
The Nautix removable cardan mast base is equipped with a soft “Shock Absorber” washer that limits vibrations and compression without altering the board’s anti-slip properties. It is fixed on the rail with two screws and is delivered with two square nuts. The gimbal part is independent.
RECOMMENDATION FOR REMOVABLE MAST BASE
The gimbals are wearing parts that you should check regularly. For your safety, do not hesitate to change them.
