The Freeride 3.5 sail offers a good planning start and an excellent control/speed ratio. The Freeride 3.5 is stable and performs well and is light on manoeuvres.
MONOFILM RIG BY FRENCH DESIGNER TEIVA SAILS
The Nautix Freeride 3.5 rig comes with a sail specially designed by Nautix:
- X-Ply 100 micron grid monofilm sail in 4 battens with specific leech reinforcements, X-Ply 150 micron trim and PVC window
- Colour: red
The X-Ply monofilm fabric saves weight and guarantees a longer life.
Our sails are designed in France by the windsurf design specialist TEIVA SAILS. A close collaboration between Teiva and the Nautix R&D team allows a modern design while preserving the Nautix commitment to quality.
SPECIFIC REINFORCEMENTS TO GUARANTEE THE DURABILITY OF YOUR SAIL
The Freeride 3.5 has 4 fibreglass battens equipped with tips to protect them from chafing. The battens are adjusted with screws. The head of the sail is adjustable. The bottom of the sail has an integrated protection. The boom is marked for easy adjustment.
MONOBLOC ALUMINIUM BOOM MADE IN EUROPE
The Freeride 3.5 rig is delivered with a Nautix Nx Kids vario boom of 140-175cm with a diameter of 26mm.
Lightweight and easy to handle, our Nautix boom is made of anodised, corrosion-resistant aluminium, covered with a comfortable and resistant Fungrip sheath. Nautix manufactures all its aluminium booms in Europe.
RECOMMANDATION FREERIDE 3.5
Easy to rig, the Nautix Freeride 3.5 rig is designed for all-round use. It is recommended for “young gun”: learning to funboard and first time wave riding. The Nautix Freeride 3.5 rig allows you a wide range of use.
VERY STRONG MAST
The rig includes a 3.85m aluminium mast in 3 parts or a 3.70m RDM C30 mast.
The Nautix range of masts is particularly suitable for sailing schools and windsurfing clubs. The epoxy masts are particularly resistant due to their fibreglass material.
CARE AND ADVICE
We deliver the Freeride 3.5 rig in a sail cover.
To keep your Freeride 3.5 rig in good condition for as long as possible, Nautix recommends rinsing it with fresh water after each windsurfing session.
To store it, find a place where it won’t get banged around or exposed to unnecessary sunlight.
