The Freeride 5.5 sail offers a good planning start and an excellent control/speed ratio. The Freeride 5.5 is stable and performs well and is light on manoeuvres.
MONOFILM SAIL BY THE FRENCH DESIGNER TEIVA SAILS
The Freeride 5.5 sail has been specially designed for Nautix:
- X-Ply 100 micron grid monofilm sail in 4 battens with specific leech reinforcements, X-Ply 150 micron border and PVC window
- Colour: Red
The X-Ply monofilm sail saves weight and guarantees a longer life.
Our sails are designed in France by the windsurf design specialist TEIVA SAILS. A close collaboration between Teiva and the Nautix R&D team allows a modern design while preserving the Nautix commitment to quality.
SPECIFIC REINFORCEMENTS TO GUARANTEE THE DURABILITY OF YOUR SAIL
The Freeride 5.5 has 4 fibreglass battens equipped with batten tips to protect them from chafing. The battens are adjusted with screws. The head of the sail is adjustable. The mast foot has an integrated protection. The boom can be easily adjusted by means of a marker.
RECOMMENDATION FREERIDE 5.5
The Nautix Freeride 5.5 sail is designed for all-round use. It is recommended for medium wind and Wave/Freeride sailing.
The Freeride sails are compatible with RDM/SDM constant curve masts.
The Freeride 5.5 can be rigged with a minimum boom length of 1.80m and a mast length of 4.40m.
CARE AND ADVICE
We deliver the Freeride 5.5 in a sail bag.
To keep your Freeride 5.5 as long as possible, Nautix advises you to rinse it with fresh water after each windsurfing session.
To store it, find a place where it won’t get banged around or exposed to unnecessary sunlight.
